Ontem, passando pelo centro da cidade,encontrei umas goiabas e resolvi comprá-las para fazer um doce.Peguei umas dicas com uma amiga,
pesquisei outras e aí está ele.
(encontrei até uma receita super rápida que é feita na panela de pressão, vou testar qualquer dia )
Posso garantir que ficou..."uma delícia".

Posso garantir que ficou..."uma delícia".
Para fazer,você vai precisar de 10 goiabas vermelhas
1 xícara de chá de água
250 ou 300 gr de açúcar cristal
(dependendo se você gosta mais ou menos doce)
5 cravos e gotas de limão
Como fazer:
Lave bem as goiabas e retire a casca.
Corte-as em 4 pedaços.
Bata no liquidificador,a polpa com as sementes
e acrescente meia xícara de água.
Separe as sementes,passe na peneira.
Dica:
Esse tipo de liquidificador já separa as sementes.
Misture o açúcar cristal com a água
antes de colocar na panela.
(isso impede que respingue açúcar na beirada da panela e queime)
Coloque na panela e deixe ferver (sem mexer)até
formar uma calda rala ( 5 minutos)
acrescente os cravos.
em outra panela ferva a polpa durante uns 3 minutos,
pingue umas gotas de limão.
Jogue na calda.
Jogue as goiabas e deixe ferver por 10 minutos
com a tampa semi aberta em fogo alto.
Vai formar uma espuma, que você deve retirar.
Deixe ferver por mais 20 minutos em fogo baixo (sem tampa)
mexendo com cuidado.
Está pronta a compota!

Aqui existem 2 tipos de goiaba, a rosa e a branca...e uma fruta muito usada aqui tanto para comer como para sucos. Aqui se chama: Guava (parecido o nome)Fiquei sabendo que antigamente, os indios aqui usavam a guava ainda nao madura como tecnica de escovar os dentes e manter a boca limpa. Ah...aqui eles preferem comer essa fruta verde e nao madura.
